Co-generation is one of the solutions most in demand at present.

Combined energy production means the simultaneous production of heat, electricity and cooling energy in order to flexibly satisfy consumer needs. Cogeneration and trigeneration help achieve the optimum efficiency of the facility by means of a gas motor, gas turbine or absorption refrigerator. Combined heat and electricity production ensures high efficiency and low cost; at the same time, correct dimensioning tailored to system needs is of primary importance. Dalkia Energy uses cogeneration at 3 power stations and operates 50 gas engines across Hungary.
