In order to increase the level of service provided to the consumers of heating networks and the facilities operated, in fall 2001 Dalkia Energia has launched its call center service. The customers can now report all faults or abnormalities to the Budapest-based phone service on a toll-free number: 06 80 201 198. The call center operator identifies the caller with the help of a computer database, records what the consumer reports and forwards the report to the engineer in stand-by service immediately. The call center system also follows up what happens in connection with settling the matter. The event logs yield useful statistics and statements, and these are also basic information in case of further complaints by the customer. The call center can be called 24 hours a day in order to ensure that fault prevention is performed fast and the follow-up is reliable.
